Established in 2003, The Landlord's Designer was born out of demands from letting agents and property investment advisors whose clients faced the new challenges of the buy-to-let market. Higher rental yields had become available for top quality properties, yet the investor was rarely in a position to personally source furnishings and manage the fit-out project.

With a professional track record spanning 15 years across interior design, contract furnishing and strategic marketing, Connie Forrest was well-placed to found the new business.

"We're not doing anything new, we're simply combining services that have always been around in a unique way to benefit a new, sophisticated and discerning breed of property investor and tenant."

As a professionally qualified designer and marketing consultant, Connie wears both hats in helping the investor maximise their return on property investment.

"This service is as much about marketing as design.  We are not paid to be designers or to provide furniture; we're paid to make a client's investment work.  Anticipating the needs, nuances and preferences of potential buyers and tenants is essential in doing so."
